Highlights from 2024

We are so grateful to have the opportunity to see God at work in our community while getting to do ministry alongside such amazing volunteers and community leaders. Here are some of the highlights from 2024:

• Expanding benevolence/community engagement through CarePortal responses.
• Partnering with Together for Alvin to expand the Prayer 4 Schools event to the City of Pearland and neighboring cities, totaling 68 schools prayed over by over 60 churches and organizations!
• The community referring others to Modern Acts to meet needs in the community.

Leader Connect / Pastor Connect

This year, we expanded upon our community leader events by holding monthly Pastor Connect events. These events allowed pastors to network, pray for each other, and worship without distraction.

Kelle Blount, one of our team members, initiated and led Pastor Connects, which have become a core part of our ministry.

Prayer Walk

Our second annual school prayer walk:

• "Pray First" initiative to support staff and students with prayer before starting the academic year.
• Prayer rally with worship, student testimonies, and community commissioning.
• Prayers over mayors and superintendents in schools.
• 68 schools prayed over by 60+ churches and organizations across Pearland, Alvin, and neighboring cities.

CITY / Mission of Hope Meal Packing Event

This event allowed students from CITY clubs to serve locally and internationally. Partnering with Mission of Hope, the students raised $7,000 to pack 20,000 meals for children in Haiti.

The event also included personal testimonies from students about the impact of these clubs.
